The Corporate Scheduling Manager will ensure that all aspects of the Corp Scheduling Department are handled appropriately and timely. The department handles Outpatient Diagnostics Scheduling, IP and OP Surgery Scheduling, Insurance and Patient Information Verification, Price Estimation, and pre-registration within Baptist Health Care. The Manager oversees the use and development of the systems administered through the Department including scheduling and price estimation software along with phone systems. Daily operations of the BHC Call Center fall under the supervision of the Manager, including management of the front-line team and management of the facility itself.
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
