The Food Service-Beh Med position is responsible for set-up of the server station of BHM dining-room with stock and hot/cold food per cycle menu. This position prepares and delivers trays to patient floors per ordered diet. He/She assists with meal set-up and break-down, including cleaning and sanitizing of all areas. He/She assists with weekly stock inventory and order. This position goes to main hospital kitchen when necessary to retrieve patient trays and supplies.
The staff member in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
