The Food Production Associate prepares, seasons, and cooks meal for patients, quests and team members according to the daily menu. She/he utilizes standardized recipes for portion control. She/he performs other related duties as requested. Supervises Dietary aides when manager is absent. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of foods for patients, employees, visitors and special functions. Responsible for food production HAACP sheets and all Food Safety logs, temperature monitoring of all items pertaining to cold food and prep area. Prepares special patient late cold food orders as needed. Assists in the overall sanitation of kitchen equipment. and quality service towards customers
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
