  • Overview

    The Revenue Cycle Patient Coordinator will provide services and revenue cycle coordination for all VIP/high profile patient cases. (i.e. professional and collegiate athletes,  oversea government officials, etc.).   The coordination will include access, scheduling, payment arrangement, insurance billing and collections, and communications with the guarantor and providers.   The Revenue Cycle Patient Coordinator must be able to work in a fast paced environment, manage the demands of coordinating revenue cycle functions, and maintain the upmost confidentiality and professionalism for high profile patients.

     

    The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Three years’ experience in revenue cycle operations account management
    • Medical Terminology. Written and Verbal communication skills. Medicare regulations. Coding. Microsoft EXCEL and WORD. Office applications: email, fax module, and scan PDF. Fast paced work environment. Meeting Deadlines. Organized. Time Management. Conforming to standards. Phone customer service. Patient Privacy. Managing Projects. Face-to-face customer service. Coordination patient needs with various service levels. Patient collection process. Billing process. Scheduling. Registration.
