  • Overview

    The Rehab Manager is responsible for management and oversight of day to day operations.  This position will contribute to the strategic development and implementation of programs tied to growth opportunities within Baptist Health Care and Andrews Institute branded rehab services. Provide specific attention to the daily operations and productivity of the clinic.  Position reports to the Corporate Director of Rehabilitation.   These duties include oversight of access, clinical coverage, efficiencies, costs and supply chain initiatives and growth initiatives. This person will align the rehabilitation initiatives to better improve our brand awareness and profitability for Andrews Institute branded rehab services as well as Baptist Health Care.  Rehab manager will have patient care responsibilities in addition to management duties.  The amount of time spent in each is determined by the size of the clinic/department managed.


    The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.


    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree is required in Physical or Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy
    • Three plus (3+) years of clinical experience in applicable setting required
    • Current Florida License in one of the following  specialties: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology,  as well as BLS through American Heart Association
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply organizational philosophy, principles and technology.
    • Ability to demonstrate, and provide examples of, continuous personal development and improvement in each of the essential functions listed in the section below: Familiarity with budgeting principles; Knowledge of basic human resource functions; Ability to build and lead cohesive, successful team(s); Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); and exemplary customer service skills
