Overview

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Central Supply of Baptist Health Care, the Clinical Resource Leader - RN has delegated responsibility for our standard methodology for product evaluations and clinician engagement utilizing quality and clinical evidence criteria. The individual combines a business case (financial benefits) and clinical analysis (qualitative benefits) to drive informed decisions about product efficacy, safety, and cost which result in an optimal formulary. This value analysis process always encompasses supply items; however, could extend to purchased services, capital equipment, service agreements, professional services, and all other goods and services which require the execution of a signed contract. This individual collaborates with key internal departments across the network such as purchasing, finance, accounts payable, and legal affairs, as well as all end user departments to review their business needs and translate them into an optimal formulary.

 

The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
  • Five (5) years of clinical experience is required
  • Two (2) years of work experience conducting product evaluation, cost-benefit analysis and financial feasibility studies or similar work.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Florida
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills – Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain management/sourcing/contracting processes/hospital operations/supplier management
  • Excellent communication skills, must possess strong verbal ability to converse with hospital administration, physicians, and staff
  • Must be able to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to convert data into usable information by performing advanced analysis, including savings validation, forecasting, risk assessment, and process analysis
  • Ability to react in an high energy, fast paced environment
