Under the supervision of the Sr Manager of Performance Improvement, the Revenue Cycle Training Specialist will be responsible for the onboarding process for the division, related to education on all relevant policies, procedures, and systems within the division. The Revenue Cycle Training Specialist will work in conjunction with each new team member’s leader to determine readiness to work independently. As needed, this position will provide one to one mentoring to team members within the division related to appropriate processes, procedures, and systems. Creates and maintains training program, class curriculums, training materials and job aids. Works directly with the Revenue Cycle Trainers to execute said curriculum in the classroom environment. Perform and document thorough assessments of hospital operations. Create detailed operational workflows, identify and create mitigation plans for operational gaps. Collaborates with division leaders to meet training goals within the division and implements operational changes to enhance effectiveness. This person must travel to all BHC locations and be versed in all systems related to the revenue cycle, in both the professional and institutional settings. The position will develop and manage the annual competency skill checks for CPFS team members to be included in the annual evaluation process for leaders. This position will also complete HIS upgrade testing in conjunction with the Information Technology team. Provides Training during pre-go live and post-go live for applicable revenue cycle applications or downstream systems impacting the division for all team members. Coordinates and conducts conversion cut-over activities. This position will utilize the risk management and QA system to provide feedback to determine action plans, as needed. This position will work with leadership of division will communicate regulation changes to staff as well as needed actions to achieve compliance. Create, follow and execute project management principles. Responsible for application implementation of a patient management system which requires engagement with all areas of hospital operations with extensive coordination with project team members and hospital leadership. Coordinates application implementation activity with clinical, information systems, HIM, charging and other implementation activities. Coordinates with implementation team to participate in integrated testing events. Effectively conduct project and business activities utilizing tools such as corporate email, telephone, WebEx and Webinar. Create and execute effective documentation.
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
